Browser cookies are required to ensure operation of our website. They make it possible for you to use the main functional features of our website (e.g. use the shopping basket or sign into your account). Without these cookies, you will not be able to use our website normally. They are cookies installed by Livoo that only affect the operation of our website and do not require the user to be informed or to give prior consent in order to be installed on their device.

Analytical cookies, necessary to measure audience numbers:

Analytical cookies provide us with information on usage, visitor numbers and related usage patterns, as well as website performance. Advertising cookies

Advertising cookies are used to show you advertising or send you information tailored to your interests or preferences on our website or on other websites when you are browsing the internet. They are used to limit the number of times that you see an advertisement and help to measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign.

Advertising cookies may be installed and consulted by Livoo, its service providers, partners and the advertisers who display the advertisements in question. For the length of time that the cookies are valid, they are used to:

  • display advertisements in all spaces reserved for third-party advertising,
  • measure the number of advertisements carried on our advertising spaces, identify the related advertisements and number of users who clicked on each advertisement, calculate the resulting revenue earned and develop statistics,
  • recognise your device when browsing at a later date on any other website or service on which these advertisers or third parties also issue cookies and, where applicable, tailor these third-party websites and advertisements to known usage patterns on your browser.

Retargeting

We may use advanced targeting functionalities that are a combination of "retargeting" data (displaying advertisements when browsing on other websites or email contact - based on the items you viewed on your website). These functional features are enabled by use of cookies and are provided by our partners, to show you advertising best suited to your needs and related to your recent activity on our website.

Machine identifier cookies used for secure transactions

To enhance the level of security of financial transactions carried out via a website and to protect customers against identity theft and fraud attempts, Livoo may share your personal data with payment partner Stripe when you place an order, in order to analyse and gauge the trustworthiness of your order.

When carrying out this analysis, Stripe may access information stored in electronic communication devices that you use in order to determine the device's machine identifier and ensure that the same device has not been used to make multiple transactions using different identities.

Stripe will retain the data collected for the purpose of developing and managing its order analysis system. Furthermore, the occurrence of a failed payment due to fraudulent use of a payment method will result in addition of the machine identifier linked to the payment incident to the payment incident file used by Stripe.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (78-17) of 6 January 1978 (amended), you have a right of access and objection that you may exercise with Stripe at any time.
