Machine identifier cookies used for secure transactions

To enhance the level of security of financial transactions carried out via a website and to protect customers against identity theft and fraud attempts, Livoo may share your personal data with payment partner Stripe when you place an order, in order to analyse and gauge the trustworthiness of your order.

When carrying out this analysis, Stripe may access information stored in electronic communication devices that you use in order to determine the device's machine identifier and ensure that the same device has not been used to make multiple transactions using different identities.

Stripe will retain the data collected for the purpose of developing and managing its order analysis system. Furthermore, the occurrence of a failed payment due to fraudulent use of a payment method will result in addition of the machine identifier linked to the payment incident to the payment incident file used by Stripe.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (78-17) of 6 January 1978 (amended), you have a right of access and objection that you may exercise with Stripe at any time.
